FD20
Compact optionUp to 3.5 m
Up to 12 rows
The more compact choice for smaller fields, flexible access, and growers who want the FarmDroid approach in a tighter footprint.
Bigger. Wider. Faster. Stronger.
A new scale of autonomous sowing and herbicide-free mechanical weeding for commercial row-crop growers.

Official launch date
FarmDroid launched the FD60 on 1 September 2026. Orders are now open, with the first deliveries planned for January 2027.
It brings the FarmDroid approach to a larger working footprint: precise sowing, recorded seed positions, and mechanical weeding carried out by the same autonomous platform. That means more field coverage with less manual work and no herbicide required for the weeding process.

First deliveries are planned for January.
2–3 years
A short payback period in the right setup.
Pick your footprint
The FD20 offers up to 3.5 m working width, while the FD60 offers up to 6.75 m. Choose the footprint that fits your fields, row plan, and scale of operation.

Up to 3.5 m
Up to 12 rows
The more compact choice for smaller fields, flexible access, and growers who want the FarmDroid approach in a tighter footprint.
Up to 6.75 m
Up to 20 rows
Designed to cover more ground per pass for larger commercial operations, while keeping autonomous sowing and mechanical weeding on the same platform.
The numbers that matter
A wide, adjustable platform that keeps the precision and low-impact operation of the FarmDroid system.
Working width
Up to 6.75 m
More ground covered in each pass.
Rows per pass
Up to 20 rows
A wide working window for commercial row crops.
Row spacing
From 25 cm
Adapt the setup to the crop and field plan.
Wheel spacing
4.60–6.70 m
Adjustable spacing for practical field access.
Daily capacity
Up to 18 ha
Keep the robot working across the season.
Seasonal capacity
≈ 60 ha per crop
Up to 90–100 ha in some cases.
Solar array
8 panels · ≈ 3.7 kWp
Solar-first power for carbon-neutral operation.
Battery
≈ 23.5 kWh
Store energy for a steady working day.
Range Extender
Integrated generator
Backup power when field conditions demand more continuity.
Solar panels power the robot and charge its battery for carbon-neutral operation. The integrated Range Extender generator adds resilience when the season or conditions call for it.
RTK GPS precision
≈ 8 mm
The FD60 records seed positions and returns to them for weeding.
Seed system
14 mm (0.8–14 mm)
A broad seed range for different crop programmes.
Seed container
14 L
Carry more seed into a pass before a refill.
Crop sensing
Not needed
Enter the field early without camera-based crop recognition.
Why it earns its place
The FD60 is about practical outcomes: fewer manual passes, fewer chemical inputs, and a robot that works with the field rather than asking the field to adapt around it.
A working width of up to 6.75 m and up to 20 rows gives commercial growers a wider autonomous operation.
The FD60 weeds mechanically, including in-row, so the process is herbicide-free and does not depend on crop sensors.
A lightweight design supports soil preservation and lets the robot enter fields earlier than heavier equipment may allow.
With a short payback period of around 2–3 years, the FD60 is designed around a clear commercial case.
